Website privacy summary

What this build does—and does not do.

This is an operational template, not legal advice. The site owner should review the final policy against the hosting, analytics, cookie, form, security, and advertising tools actually enabled at launch.

Information entered on this website

The theme package does not include an account system, checkout, medical form, newsletter form, advertising pixel, live chat, or custom database collection. Boarding request buttons open Cats in the City, whose forms and systems govern the information submitted there.

Server and security logs

The web host, WordPress installation, firewall, content-delivery network, or security service may process technical information such as IP address, browser, device, requested URL, referring page, and time of access for delivery, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and security.

Analytics-ready events

The included JavaScript places non-sensitive interaction events in a local dataLayer, including booking-path selections, Fit Finder categories, room filters, network-link clicks, phone clicks, and FAQ opens. Those events do not leave the browser unless an administrator enters a Google Tag Manager or GA4 identifier in the Phase 3 settings. The event payloads are designed to exclude names, dates, diagnoses, medication names, glucose values, veterinary records, and contact details.

Local browser storage

The Packing Checklist and Boarding Fit Finder may store selections in the browser using localStorage. This allows checklist progress and a non-identifying boarding-plan summary to remain available when the visitor reaches the booking gateway. The visitor can clear the stored plan from that page. The planning data is not submitted to WordPress and is not a reservation or medical record.

External destinations

Links to Cats in the City, Purr Almighty, connected care properties, maps, and other external websites follow the privacy practices of those destinations. Cats in the City links receive referral attribution parameters identifying PortlandCatBoarding.com as the source.

Cookies

The theme itself does not create custom marketing cookies. Browser storage used by the planning tools is not a medical record and can be cleared by the visitor. WordPress, logged-in administration, caching, analytics, embedded content, security tools, or future plugins may add cookies. The live policy must be updated when those tools are enabled.

Medical and guardian information

Do not submit medical records or private guardian information through a generic WordPress comment or unapproved contact form. Use the designated Cats in the City boarding request and active reservation channels.

Updates

Update this page when the site’s actual tools, processors, forms, embeds, analytics, advertising, consent controls, or legal requirements change.
